National Kids' Fest includes a wide variety of child friendly entertainment that adults will enjoy too! The Kids Fest is known as the largest children's festivals in America and has been warming hearts and minds for years.
One of the most popular attractions is Extreme Stunts on Wheels. During this performance, professional cyclists, skaters and "boarders" will demonstrate amazing stunts on bikes, inline skates and skateboards, like the Stalefish, the Tailslide, the Indy, and the Rodeo. This is the height of extreme sports and is sure to send a shiver down the spine of everyone watching. (Just make sure your children do not try any of these stunts at home!) To succeed at Extreme Stunts, athletes must combine agility and tightly honed technical skills to defy gravity as they jump, flip, glide and spin through the air. Extreme Stunts on Wheels has been described as the hottest athletic show in the US sports circuit. If you spend 10 minutes watching these super athletes you will understand why!
Kid's Fest is not just about sports. Also on board are kid cloggers, hands-on crafts and activities designed especially for children and families. Seven days a week, the Championship Clogging event allows talented children from around the country to tell the rich history of American folk dancing. Children love the wooden shoes!
During the weekend, Places We Call Home is an inspiring show where children sing songs about the things that are held special in our hearts. No matter what part of the country a child is from, there are some things we all hold dear.
On Sunday nights, the Brush Arbor Melodies Show provides inspirational Gospel music that entertains while bringing a touching moral message. The Cumberland Quartet featuring Jamie Haage, Tracy Heaston and Kristy McConnell perform current gospel hits and classics. Great music will lift the spirits of everyone in the hall!
